The ICA code of ethics: What is its character? Which obligations does it impose and to whom? What is the differences between a professional code of ethics and a branche code? Can the archival community as a profession do without a code of conduct and can a profession as such do without it?
Theo Thomassen är professor i Arkivvetenskap vid universitetet i Amsterdam. Tidigare var han ”Director of the Reinwardt Academy” och dessförinnan ”Archiefschool in Amsterdam”, Han var President för ICA-SAE 1996-2000. En mycket uppskattad talare som arbetat med professionens utveckling inom ICA bl.a. frågor om etik.
